Jacquolyn "Jackie" Smartt

Jacquolyn “Jackie” Smartt age 77 of Knoxville, passed away March 15, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a child of God. She will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts. She loved her dogs dearly and treated them as children. Jackie loved camping, outdoors and spending time with family. Preceded in death by husband of 55 years, Nicky Smartt; father, Ralph Monday; mother, Mildred Monday; sister, Jerry Lynn Monday Horner. Survived by children, Brent (Amy), Barry (Tammy) and Vicki Rockwell Smartt; grandsons, Evan (Hollie) and Derek Smartt; granddaughters, Shelby Smartt Dyer (Riley), Bailey Smartt Noe (Jeremy) and Josy Smartt; great-grandson, Jace Beck; sister, Janice Monday (Earl) Myers; several nieces and nephews and many “sister friends”. She loved her many friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Wednesday at Weaver Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 am Thursday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Gov. John Sevier Hwy. for a 10 am graveside service. Condolences may be left at www.weaverfuneralservices.com.
