Jack Dotson

Jack Dotson of Knoxville passed away on September 16,2021. He was 17 days away from his 97th birthday. Jack was born on October 3, 1924 and grew up in Englewood, Tennessee and Knoxville. He was a devoted and loving husband and father. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Joe McKay Dotson of Etowah and his son Michael Phillip Dotson. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Kay Dotson. Jack served in the Navy during World War II and worked for many years for the United States Postal Service in downtown Knoxville. During his long retirement he and his wife enjoyed buying, repairing, and selling antiques and collectibles. Jack and Betty were members of Church Street United Methodist Church.
