Ingrid Marie Bakke, age 86, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. She was born to parents, Jacob and Astrid Follaug of Skien, Norway. Ingrid married Arne J. Bakke June 1952 and moved to Chicago, IL in 1957 where they raised their two daughters. She loved spending time with family, gardening and enjoying her home.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Arne J. Bakke.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Anne and Hoot Rudolph, Linda and Tim Watson; grandchildren, Stephanie and husband, Adam Campkin, Jessica and husband, Collin Taaffe, Carolyn and husband, Wes Walker, Elizabeth and husband, Austin Roberts; great grandchildren, Brady Campkin, Liam Taaffe, Cason and Addison Walker.
The family will celebrate her life on her birthday, November 18, 2020 in a private service at Graystone Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev., Dr. Leslie D. Rust. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Graystone Presbyterian Church, 139 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920.
