Ida Mae (Nanny) Archer – age 86, of Knoxville, passed away October 23, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, and working puzzles. She was retired from JCPenney and Hallmark Card company. She was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church for 53 years, serving in many ways.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Horace S. Archer; son, Jerry Archer; son-in-law, Ray Riley; her parents and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Kathy Archer Riley, Leon (Cindy) Archer, and LeAnn Moore; grandchildren, Kimberly (Barry) Busler, Jennifer (Lance) DePew, Chris (Kellye) Archer, Laura (Charlie) Woolum, and Kelly (Donald) Massey; great-grandchildren, Kathryn Busler, Riley DePew, Shelby Martin, Andrew Martin, Addison Archer, and Lincoln Massey; and a host of family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Lynnhurst Cemetery on October 28, 2024 at 11:00 am with Rev. Kent Williams officiating.
