Horace Lynwood Harper Jr.

Horace Lynwood “Nip” Harper Jr., age 85, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 6, 2018 surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He was the founder and owner of Knoxville Corrugated Box Company until the age of 83. He was a long time faithful member of Church Street United Methodist Church. He is at rest with the Lord and reunited with his wife Mary.

Horace was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Margaret Harper Sr. and his loving wife of 46 years, Mary Williams Harper.

Horace is survived by his four children Wade (Susan) Harper, Margaret (Mark) Barrow, Carol (Craig) Wehinger, Cindy (Matt) Job; grandchildren, Will, Sidney, Jack, Caroline, Mary Margaret, Steven, Robert, McKensie, Annie, Madeleine, Sophie, Ava and Matt; brother, Bob (Becky) Harper.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Church Street United Methodist Church from 9:00 am until 10:00 am with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 am.
