Helen Ruth Allen Weaver, age 91, passed away August 25, 2024. Helen grew up in Sevier County and lived in Farragut most of her life. She was a member of Farragut Presbyterian Church, retired from Fort Sanders Medical Center, and served as a volunteer at Parkwest Medical Center for a number of years.
Helen was preceded in death by husband, Freddie J. Weaver; parents, Hobart and Mettie Allen; brother, Frank Allen and sister, Juanita Allen. Survivors include son Michael Weaver (Lisa) and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will gather at Berry Highland Memorial on Sunday, September 1 at 1 p.m. for a memorial service, Rev. Matt Nieman officiating. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be sent to Farragut Presbyterian Church or Ronald McDonald House.
