Oxendine, Helen J., age 80, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012. Member of Holston Hills Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Martin Oxendine; daughters, Patricia Ramsey, Judy Collins; son, John Oxendine.
Survivors include daughter, Sandra Swann and husband Lee Jay Swann; son-in-law, Donny Collins; daughter-in-law, Dannette Oxendine; grandchildren, Stacy Long (Joe), April Collins, David Campbell, Missy Washam, Teresa Amyx, Michael Swann, Melinda Hale, Eddie Oxendine, Chris Oxendine, and Michael Collins; sisters, Ruth Riddle, Gloria Sherwood, and Martha Buhl; several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Thursday with the funeral to follow at 8 pm with Rev. Dale Walker and Rev. Tommy Caylor officiating.
