Helen Mccoy Bell

Helen McCoy Bell, 89, went to be with Jesus Feb. 17, 2022. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who leaves behind a legacy of kindness and gentleness with everyone she met. She was a member of Alice Bell Baptist Church where she was active for years prior to Covid. While in assisted living she had a positive impact on everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband E.W. Bell.

She leaves behind two daughters, Linda ( husband Barry) O'Brien and Verna (husband Phil) Barrett, two grandchildren Casey O'Brien and Susan Towner, nine great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind two stepchildren, Edwina Kirkwood and Sam Bell. Helen loved people and her family and always let the light of God shine on every situation. She will be greatly missed by all.

Call at Convenience will be Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 1:00pm - 5:00pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville. Family and friends will gather on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Pleasant View Cemetery, 310 Hwy 61 East, Maynardville, TN 37807 for a 2:00pm graveside service.
