Radcliffe, Hazel Ellen, age 97, passed away September 26, 2012. Hazel was a Knoxville native, member of Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She volunteered for CAC and O’Connor Senior Center for several years, and had worked on the Manhattan Project at Y-12.
Predeceased by parents, John Robert and Anna Elizabeth Sharp Moyers, 11 brothers and sisters, and grandson, Robert Alton Lawton.
Hazel is survived by her son, George Radcliffe (Nadine); daughter, Carla Radcliffe; grandchildren, Karen Lynn Radcliffe, David Demarque Radcliffe, Donald Eugene Radcliffe, Gilbert Lydell Lawton (Jackie), Dia Charmaine Fauss (Milton), Barry Baretto Pascual (Angela); great-grandchildren, Kyla Ford, Stephanie Evans, Sheena Staples, Jessica Peszynski, Tiffany, Elias, & Mason Radcliffe, David, Daniel, & Amanda Lawton, Daniel, Krystle, Gabriela, Stephen & Nathan Fauss, Brittany Laurentiu, Peyton & Carlee Pascual; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery, 2:15 pm Saturday, for 2:30 graveside services, Rev. David Collins officiating.
