Haws, Hazel Ruth (Tallent), 88, of Louisville, passed away and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 2, 2014. Hazel was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Preceded in death by husband, Charles L. Haws; son, Doug Haws; parents, C.B. and Dorsie Tallent; and sister, Betty Davenport. Survived by daughter, Terri (Bob) Gibbs; granddaughter, Jessica Gatlin; grandson, Chad Haws; brother, J.W. (Virginia) Tallent; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Hazel’s caregivers, Anna and Barbara and the hospice staff at Blount Memorial. The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home Chapman Highway on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev.
