Harold Henry Crisp

Crisp, Harold H., age 79, of South Knoxville, passed away May 21, 2012 at his home. Harold loved to play his guitar and sing. He loved to fish and make people laugh. He was an accomplished woodworker and also enjoyed watching sports. Harold was a retired plant manager with Firestone Tires. He was a loving father and very proud of his children. Preceded in death by parents, Stanly H. Crisp and Ella Hill Crisp; brothers, William Virgil, John D. J.B., Robert H., Mack F. and Joe L. Crisp; sisters, Mattie Monger, Francis Wright, Eula Mae Crisp, Alma Ruth Ferguson and Dorothy Waters. Survived by wife of 60 years, Sylvia Cooper Crisp; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Gary McMahan; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Donna Crisp; daughter and son-in-law, Diana and John Chavis; grandchildren, Eric Crisp Cook, Christopher John Chavis, Jason Chavis, Amanda Crisp and Chloe Borowicz; step-grandchildren, Gabriel and Amanda McMahan; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy., at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012, Rev. Laura Rasor officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Hickory Valley Cemetery, Loudon County, TN.
