Mr. Glenn Coy Sanders

Glenn Coy Sanders, age 77, of Seymour passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Ft. Sanders Transitional Care. Glenn retired from The Federal Government Services after 30 years; he served his country in The U.S. Navy, and later earned his commission in The U.S. Army National Guard, in which he later fully retired as a Major. He loved being with family, and his boating family from Louisville Landing Marina. Traveling was one of his passions being able to go many places with his devoted wife Faye. Preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Pearl Sanders. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Faye Sanders; daughters, Tonya, Ronda, Karen and son Glenn Jr. Additionally he is survived by one brother and two sisters; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, as well as many other extended family members and special friends too numerous to count. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Berry Highland South Funeral Home 9010 E. Simpson Rd. in Knoxville. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am, Saturday, December 17 at Berry Highland South Cemetery for an 11:00 am.
