George Henry West

West, George Henry - 60 of Seymour; loving husband, brother, and friend, went to be with Jesus on April 26, 2015, surrounded by his family at UT Medical Center. He is survived by his bride of 39 years, Lea Emert West. Those left to cherish his life and honor his legacy include; brother William R. West, Jr. and fiancée Lynn; sister Peggy Andrews and husband Alan; sister Patty Boling, sister Pam Hughes and husband JR, sister-in-law Rajeania Snider and husband Derrik; brother-in-law, Kevin Emert and wife Tammy; many nieces, nephews and friends. He retired after 20 years from Knox-Tenn Rental and Sales. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses of UT Medical Center for taking great care of him. There will be a memorial service in his honor celebrating his life on Friday, May 1, 2015, at New Hopewell Baptist Church, 943 Kimberlin Heights Road, Knoxville, starting at 6:30 pm.
