George Edward Loveday Jr.

Loveday, George Edward, Jr. age 71, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011. Mr. Loveday was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local # 5, Charles McKinney Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, and a Shriner. Preceded in death by parents, George Pleasant Loveday and Myrtle Laverne Ridings Glover, and granddaughter, Kaitlyn Loveday.

Survivors include wife, Judy Carolyn Logsdon Loveday; siblings, Laverne Loveday Davis, Clifford and Jean Loveday, Blaine and Vivian Loveday, Joe and Trish Loveday, Leona Daugherty, Beulah Huskey, Darrell and Alva Logsdon, Daniel and Sandy Logsdon, and Jeanne Catron; children, Linda and Michael Wyrick, George and Sherrie Loveday, III, Shannon and Renee Loveday; grandchildren, Eddie Loveday, Stacey Wyrick Parton, Brandon Loveday, Christopher Wyrick, Lauren Loveday, Kristyn Loveday, Kailyn Loveday; great grandchildren, Tyler Parton, Jasmine Parton, McKenzie McBride, and Alice Loveday.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 – 8 pm in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. A Masonic Service will begin at 8 pm. A funeral service to follow with Rev. Kirk Wallace officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel at 10:30 am Thursday and proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11 am interment service.
