Gary Ronald Doyle

Gary Ronald Doyle, age 69, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024. Gary was born January 23, 1955 in North Carolina. Gary grew up in North Carolina and East Knoxville. He enlisted in the United States Army on February 7, 1974 and served overseas in Germany as a Truck Mechanic with the Service Battery, 3rd Battalion 84th Field Artillery. He was promoted to Specialist 4th Class and received an Honorable Discharge on February 10, 1977.

Gary made his home in Knoxville and worked as a automotive and residential painter. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Doyle Oliver; grandfather, William McKinley Doyle; a World War I Veteran and his grandmother, Lettie Ann Monday Doyle.

Gary passed away with no surviving family to claim him for burial.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held 12:30 pm, Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Rev. Pat Polis officiating with full Military Honors provided by the Army National Guard and the East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
