Gail Judith Walker

Gail Judith Walker, age 79, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021, in Knoxville surrounded by her daughters. Gail was born in Newark, New York on November 1, 1941, to Joseph A. and Freda Agnes Cunningham.

Gail was raised in Rochester, New York. She graduated high school from Brewster Academy in New Hampshire and later graduated from Curry College in Massachusetts with a Bachelor degree in Education. Gail was an elementary teacher in Elizabeth, New Jersey before raising her three daughters.

Gail was an avid traveler and had lived in Saudi Arabia during her childhood. She spent most of her adult life in Wallingford, Connecticut. She moved to Knoxville in 2015 to be close to family.

She is predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by her three daughters, Kimberly Walker of Knoxville, Kari Walker of Knoxville and Wendy Walker of Meriden, Connecticut. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Emma, Molly, Amy, Joshua and Alexandra.

A private graveside service will be held for family only.
