Frank Henry Powell

Frank Henry Powell, age 96, went to be with his Lord, Monday, April 24, 2023. He was a longtime member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Frank was retired from Southland Erectors formerly Powell Erection. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, played football for Auburn and Army, and was involved with showing Tennessee Walking Horses. Preceded in death by parents, Irmal and Buell Powell; wife, Delores “Dee” Powell; son, William Powell; sisters, Juanita, Dorothy, Margaret, Dora and Nora; brothers, Wray, Joe and John. Survived by son, Mac Powell, Greg Powell (Jennifer); daughter, Judy Powell Roy (Maggie); son-in-law, Scott Roy; grandchildren, Daphne and Brody Powell, Tyler Roy (Maja), Julia Roy (Thomas); great grandchildren, Leela and Kai; sister, Helen Mendenhall and Ruth Edwards; sisters-in-law, Sue Powell and Joyce Powell; many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Friday with the funeral service to follow at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive. Rev. Scott Hood will officiate.
