Frances June McFarland

Frances June Sands McFarland age 90 formerly of Claxton, TN passed away April 9, 2022. She was previously active in several Baptist Church’s in the Knoxville area. She worked in the clothing industry as a seamstress. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Rev. Charles McFarland and several siblings. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Stephen Shelby; granddaughters and their husbands, Stephanie and Keith Owensby of Chattanooga and Jennifer and Ricky Henry of Alexandria, KY; great-grandchildren, Avie and Cade Owensby of Chattanooga and Nikoh and Pepper Henry of Alexandria, KY.; sister, Iola Bates and several nieces and nephews. She loved the Lord and had such a strong faith and she loved her family with all her heart. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. The family wishes to thank Sycamore Trace Assisted Living in Kingston, Life Care Center of Morgan County in Wartburg and Roane Medical Center for all your loving care and support.The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Wednesday at Weaver Funeral Home.
