KNOXVILLE - Rev. Floyd E. Griffin 60, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 4, 2021. He was assistant pastor at New Fellowship Full Gospel Church in Maynardville. Floyd was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Katherine Griffin; sister, Pamala White; brothers, Timmy and Darrell Griffin. He is survived by wife of 39 years, Helen (Humphrey) Griffin; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer (Jason) Coker; grandson, Josh Coker; sister, Jackie Frazier. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Monday, February 8, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at New Fellowship Full Gospel Church in Maynardville. Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Sam Ward and Rev. Buster Gresham officiating. Family and friends will meet at McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. and leave in procession to Stony Point Cemetery for a 11:00 a.m. interment.
