Mom was a Christian, a caring and loving mom, grandma, and great-grandma who loved to cook in her ‘lab’. She was a fun-loving lady who was full of laughter. She loved being around friends and family and enjoyed taking road trips. She really liked watching the Atlanta Braves baseball team in her later years and laughing with people on the phone.
She will be greatly missed more than words can say by family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Reba Osborne, sisters, Mildred Shaw and Frankie Lively, son, Jim Taylor, and former husband, Jack Taylor.
Survivors include: her daughter, Carolyn Taylor of Knoxville, son, David Taylor (Teresa Dishmon) of Corryton, and daughter, Sheila Walker and her husband Freddie Walker of Lenoir City, Tennessee. Grandkids, Matt Taylor, Tonya Taylor, and Amanda Iannacone (husband Matt). Great-grandson, Griffin Lauth. Nephews, H.D. Shaw (Linda}, Mike Ramsey (Faye), and Steve Ramsey (Kathy).
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 11:00 am until noon at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home at 5315 Kingston Pike in Knoxville. A funeral service will follow the visitation in the chapel at 12:00 pm. A committal service in the Berry Highland Memorial Gardens will be at 1:00 pm. Pastor Tommy Muncey will be officiating the services.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org
