Evelyn Lee Cummings, 82 of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017. Beloved wife, mother and grandmother and Southern Baptist. She was preceded in death by parents, Minor Smith and Mildred Lee; husband, Joseph M. Cummings; son-in-law, Kevin Paulk. Evelyn is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, V. L Cummings (Melvin Baumgardner) and Sherri Paulk and Jeff Simpkins; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Janice Lee; grandson, Joey Hannah and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway. Funeral service will be Monday, November 13, 2017 at 2:00pm at Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
