Ernest Samuel Williams

Ernest Samuel Williams, age 76, of Seymour, Tennessee passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022. Sam was a member of the Patrol Squadron for the US Navy. After his time in the military, Sam worked at Cherokee Textile Mills for 20 years and then Denton Oil Company where he retired from. Sam is preceded in death by parents Clay and Ona Williams; brothers Bill and Dan Williams; nieces Angela Lewelling, Susie Williams, Diana Wooten and Karen Mendoza; in-laws Pitner and Lucille Galyon and brother-in-law Jimmy Frye. He is survived by daughter Vickie (Jeff) Parton; grandchildren Christian (Destiny Dodson) Loposser, Koty (Krista Breeden) Loposser and Matthew Parton; great-grandchildren Carson Loposser, Brodie Bush, Tylee Loposser, Paisley Loposser, Campton Parton, Cove Parton, Kelly and Kylie Ogle; sister Shirley Frye; special great-niece Catherine Williams and previous wife Judy (Phillip) Brown. The family would like to thank Avalon Hospice and Nurses Lisa and Monica for the love and care they provided Sam during this time.
