Ella B Shipman

Ella B Shipman, age 90, went to her Heavenly home surrounded by her children, Tuesday, January 17, 2023. She was of the Baptist Faith. Ella retired from K-Mart after 32 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph Shipman; son, Dennis E. Shipman; parents, O.A. and Mary Satterfield; brother, Kenny Satterfield; sister, Betty Pelfrey. Survived by sons, Steve Shipman (Sharon). Dwight Shipman (Jennifer); daughter, Janice Heatherly (Jim); grandchildren, Stephanie Clark, Heather Childress, Jeremy Childress, Damien Baldwin, Jaylan Heatherly, Joseph (Amy) Shipman, Eddie (Candy) Shipman, Breanna (Drew) Steele; great grandchildren, Symphonie Carr, Tyler Pickens, Taygan Childress, Taylor Hickman, Jaxon Clark, Nathan Steele, Joseph Steele, Daniel Steele, Jacob Steele, Ryleigh Paige Shipman, Braxton and Donovan Childress; 2 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Friday at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2 pm Saturday at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. The interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. John Hall officiating.
