Edward “Ed” Butler age 87 of Knoxville, passed away July 7, 2023. Ed was a lifetime member of Beaver Ridge United Methodist Church. He was a lifetime Dairy Farmer and a founding member of Karns Volunteer Fire Dept. Ed loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His hobbies were antique tractors and going to flea markets. Survived by his loving wife of almost 65 years, Charlotte Butler; sons, Tom (Karen) Butler and Bob (Jamie) Butler; grandchildren, Nathan (Katie) Butler and Amber (Rocky) Robbins; great-grandchildren, Norah and Eddie Butler and John-Parker, Cas and Bo Robbins; Several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday at Weaver Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at Edgewood Cemetery at 9:45 am Tuesday for a 10 am graveside service. Rev. Henry Lenoir officiating. Pallbearers: Nathan Butler, Rocky Robbins, Thomas Whitson, Dan Golden, Jerry Butler and Scott Minor.
