Brown, Edward (Bud) –age 85 of South Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 21, 2011. Mr. Brown was a World War ll US Army veteran. He was awarded 3 Bronze Service Stars, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Ribbon and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon. Survived by wife, Iola Brown; son, John Ed Brown; grandsons, Kevin Brown and Tyler Brown; granddaughter, Farrah James and husband, Jeff. Also survived by 1 niece and several nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Berry Funeral Home at 10:45 am to travel in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside service.
