Edna "Ruthie" Morrissey

She retired with 42 years of service with Miller's Department Store and then 11 years in Motel Management in Starke, Florida. Ruthie was a longtime member of Meridian Baptist Church where she loved her church family and Brother Dana Fachman dearly.

She is preceded in death by parents James and Eloise Williams; brothers Marvin Williams, Buddy Williams, Claude Williams and Ronnie Williams; sisters Elvina Williams, Anna Jean Hamilton and Edith Baines.

Ruthie is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Tommy Morrissey; sisters Sue Dunn, Roxie (Clifford) Wilson and Charlene (Vern) Tidwell; 13 nieces and nephews; special nephew Eugene Hamilton; special friends Joann Farmer, Joann Childress, Cynthia Headrick, Rema Ballew and Kathy Shelton.

The family welcomes friends for a Visitation from 12pm-2pm at Berry Highland South on Friday, August 25, 2023, a Funeral Service at 2pm and a Graveside to follow in the Garden of Valor.
