Edith Loranne (Miller) Muldrew went to be with her God on May 4, 2024. She was born in Adamsville, West Virginia, on July 14, 1923, where she grew up on her parents' farm, having a pet squirrel and a pet fox. She graduated from Shinnston High School and attended West Virginia University where she met her future husband, Bill Muldrew. Edith and her family moved to Oak Ridge, Tennessee, in 1952 and then to Farragut, Tennessee, in 1955 and lived there for the remainder of her life. Edith was an active member of Concord United Methodist Church during that time. She was an avid gardener and a member of several Garden Clubs in west Knox County. She gladly gave cuttings, seeds, and flowers from her gardens to family and friends. She was an excellent seamstress and made clothes for her family, grandchildren, and others. She loved playing bridge and, an accomplished player, she belonged to several bridge clubs in Farragut. She was an excellent cook and baker and was known for a variety of delicious Christmas cookies and pastries. She worked as a pharmacist assistant at Farragut Drugstore and West Hills Drugstore for many years. Edith and Bill loved to travel and to dance and they did a lot of both. She lived on her own for many years after the loss of her husband in 2007. When she decided she needed more care, she moved to Autumn Care of Farragut where she made many new friends.
