Edith Morris, 87, of Knoxville, passed away December 31, 2018 at Diversicare of Claiborne. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City and a proud member of the Martha Class. She was a retired nursing assistant at Fort Sanders for over 30 years.
Preceded in death by her parents John and Mozell Connatser, husband Billie Vernon Morris, son Gary Morris, and daughter Ginger Scates.
Survivors include son Guy Morris and wife Ananda, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be a gathering of family and friends Friday, January 4, 2019 at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee, 37919 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 pm. Family and friends will meet in Berry Highland Memorial cemetery Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:45 am for a 11:00 am interment service.
