Dorothy Webb Tallent, age 96, of Roswell, GA and formerly of Knoxville passed away November 18, 2021.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, James D. ‘JD’ Tallent; parents, Gaines ’Pop’ and Mae Webb; and her brother Elton Webb.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Tallent Brown (Dan) and Shirley Tallent Buffington (Herb); 3 grandchildren, Scott Brown (Harkness) Ashley Brown Howell (Joe) and Angela Buffington Long (Keith); 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
While living in Knoxville, Dorothy was an active member of Erin Presbyterian Church. She requested that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church.
Family and friends will meet for a graveside service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919. Rev. John Stuart will officiate.
