Dorothy "Dot" (Dodson) Aldmon, age 90, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Dot was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She will always be remembered as a sweet and loving wife, mother and Nana. Dot was a math teacher for more than 30 years at Bearden Elementary School. She was an avid reader, community volunteer, bridge player, golfer and UT sports enthusiast. She also enjoyed traveling the world, visiting twenty three countries.
Dot is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Aldmon; parents, Clint and Mary Dodson; brothers, Clint and Joe Dodson. Dot will be missed by her sons, Jim Aldmon (Linda) and Tom Aldmon (Mandy); grandchildren, Thomas Aldmon (Jocelyn), Hannah Sherrod (Houston) and Chris Aldmon; great grandchildren, David, Benjamin, Joseph and Magnolia.
A visitation will be held for Dot on Saturday, March 18, 2022 at 1pm at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home with a service to be held at 2pm, Barbara Clark officiating.
