Dona Jean Simpson Rayfield age 73 of Knoxville passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was a member of Tekoa Baptist Church was retired a cosmetologist. Preceded in death by her husband Ronald J. Rayfield, parents Eugene and Charlotte Simpson, sisters Patricia Dihu and Charlene Simpson. Survivors include daughter Sherry Romine and son Joe and his wife Michelle Rayfield, grandchildren Kayla Ryan (Jordan) and Hunter Romine, great granddaughter Alexa Ryan, and brother Eugene “Butch” Simpson (Phyllis). Family and friends will meet Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 2:45pm at Berry Highland West, 9913 Sherrill Blvd., Knoxville, TN 37932, for a 3pm interment service. Rev. Bill Dean officiating.
