Don Richard Wooten

Don Richard Wooten, loving and devoted husband and father, passed away at the age of 83 at his home on Friday, October 13, 2023. He is preceded in death by his brother, William Wooten and granddaughter, Megan Wooten. He leaves behind, his wife of 66 years, Bobbie Kelley Wooten; children, Donna Jean Wooten, James “Richie” (Teresa) and Michael (Sherry) Wooten; grandchildren, Christina Valencia Wooten, Laura Valencia Wooten, Richie Wooten; two great-grandchildren, Monet Davis and Brianna Wooten. Don was a longtime and faithful member of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle Church. A special thanks to Pat Bailey for providing excellent care during his final days. Also thanks to Smokey Mountain Hospice for their care and compassion. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Tuesday at Weaver Funeral Home with the service to follow at 7 pm.
