Don E. Flynn

Flynn, Don E., age 72, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013. Don was a member of Arrowhead Church of God of Prophecy and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He worked for many years at Allied Structural Steel and as a stagehand at the Civic Coliseum and the Tennessee Theater. Don was preceded in death by wife of 53 years, Sarah K. Flynn; father and mother, George T. and Willena Flynn; brothers, Raymond, Jack, and Cline Flynn. He is survived by son, Mike Flynn and wife, Patti; grandson, Zachery Flynn; brothers, Earl and Dobie Flynn and Kenneth and Betty Flynn; brother-in-law, Billy and Selma Lundy, many nieces and nephews and faithful canine companion, Lil Bit. Special thanks to Covenant Hospice and caregiver Patti Flynn. Family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home on Chapman Highway on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 5-7pm with the funeral service to follow at 7pm.
