Denise Patricia White was born on June 24, 1954 to William and Maude Holley in Brooklyn, New York. “Nieci” as she was called by family was educated at Midwood High School in New York, and later attended the College of Staten Island.
Denise was baptized into the fellowship and received into the membership of Berean Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York in November, 1961. Denise was on the usher board at Berean Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York. In addition she was a member of the Omega Chapter No. 48, Order of the Eastern Star in Brooklyn, New York who sincerely reflect the spirit of fraternal love and desire to work together for good by giving their time to meaningful projects that benefit mankind and the community.
On June 24,1995 Denise married Teromee White of Brooklyn, New York. Together, they shared a loving, blended family. Her love of God, Family and Friends were very important to "Nieci". She was a devout sports fan of football and basketball. She also enjoyed watching western and classic movies.
In her professional life, Denise accomplished and exceeded all performance expectations to the highest standards. She won various achievements awards and accolades from multiple employers to include NAACP Legal Defense Fund, BAE Systems of Santa Clara California, and Ted Russell Ford of Knoxville, Tennessee. Denise was also a devoted military spouse and mother.
On the evening of Monday, May, 13, 2024, when all was quiet and still, Denise succumbed to her bout with cancer at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Denise is survived by her husband, Teromee White, her two biological sons Rodney of El Paso, Texas, Roger of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, her brother Kevin Holley of Newport News, Virginia her blended family included Marlon Antoine of Bayonne, New Jersey, Shadina of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Antionetta of Temple Terrace, Florida, Marva of Waialua, Hawaii, Mattia of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and 2 grand meows. Lastly, she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Family and friends with gather for a visitation on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 5pm at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919. A visitation will be held at M.J. Smith Sons Funeral Home, 255 Ninth Street, Brooklyn, New York on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 10am with a funeral service to follow at 11am . A graveside will follow at 1pm at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
