David Eugene Overton

Overton, David Eugene, 58, of Knoxville, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014. David worked at Denso Manufacturing and worked for 32 years at Briggs Manufacturing. He was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Patricia Overton; and sister, Margaret Brewer. He was survived by his wife of 41 years, Geneva (Flenniken); sons and daughter-in-law, John and Missy Overton, and David Lynn Overton; granddaughter, Jordan Overton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Anita Overton of San Antonio, Texas, and Ronald and Carmen Overton of Aviano, Italy; sister, Gail Overton of San Antonio, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Steve Carver. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Berry Funeral Home on Chapman Highway from 6:00-8:00 pm. A service will follow at 8:00 pm, with Rev. Tony Cross officiating. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 and leave in procession to Woodlawn for a 12:00 pm graveside service.
