David Herdy Anderson

David “DA” Herdy Anderson age 58 of Knoxville passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at his home. He was of the Baptist Faith. David was a long time respected employee and car dealer of Harry Lane Chrysler Kia and Harry Lane North. In his youth he was a member of Youth Demolay and a 1976 graduate of Friendsville High School. “DA” never met a stranger. His love of Norris Lake and Daytona Beach, Harleys, his family and friends and his smile and laugh were infectious. Preceded in death by his grandparents Tip and Hannah Dotson, George and Annie Mae Anderson and Father-in-law Harry I. Lane and his special buddy Harley Rae. He will be missed by his wife Kellye D. Lane Anderson, who has lost the love of her life and best friend, they were together for 22 years. Also survived by his mother Judy Dotson Laten and John Herdy Anderson, daughter Tiffany R. Anderson and son and fiancée’ Justin T. Anderson and Rebecca A. Nave, grandchildren Brennan, Addalynn and Rosalie Anderson, mother-in-law Mary Lane, brother-in-law Kenny Lane and Doug Lane, special niece Leslie Lane-Wilson, “Like A Sis” Sharma Lawson, uncles, aunts, cousins and many special friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 5-7 pm at Berry HIGHLAND MEMORIAL, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN, 37919. A Celebration of David’s Life will be held at 7pm with Mark Kidd officiating. A private family entombment will be held at a later date a Berry Highland WEST.
