Darlene Gail Dunaway

DARLENE BURNETTE DUNAWAY age 69 of Knoxville, passed away November 2, 2015 at her home. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by mother, Bernice VanDyke; father, Troy Burnette; brother, Jackie Huggins; sisters, Sarah and Sandra Huggins. Survived by husband of 25 years, Joseph Dunaway; daughters, Kim (Mark) Pinkston, Linda (Jason) Edington and Shawna (James) Edington; grandchildren, Sheena Reed, Janaye and Ryan Pinkston, Brandon, Madison, Taylor and Tanner Edington; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Mast, Nolan Pinkston and Jaxton Reed; brother, Mike (Debbie) Huggins; sisters, Linda (Mickey) Rose, Janey Nichols and Robin (Wayne) Garrett. She will be missed by her babies, Patches and Rocky. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday, November 5th at Weaver Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 pm Friday, November 6th at Click Curve Cemetery in Hot Springs, NC for a 1 pm graveside service. Rev. Randy Brown officiating.
