Dale Gordon Ellis

Dale Gordon Ellis, age 87, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017. He was a member of Colonial Heights United Methodist Church, a veteran of the Korean War, and a member of Fraternal Order of Free Masons Lodge 769. Dale was a very loving grandfather. He was preceded in death by wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Ellis, who was the love of his life. Dale is survived by daughter, Joy Dunn and husband, Darrell and their 3 children, Rene Shelton, Christopher Dunn, and Ashley Dunn; 2 great-grandchildren, Kayley Dunn and Jacob Clark; daughter, Jill Ellis and her 2 children, Molly and Jenna Rochelson. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, the funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm, with Rev Daniel Ogle officiating.
