Caldwell, Cornelia Constance “Connie” age 85 of New Market passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 after an extended illness. She was a member of the Mascot Chapter of the Eastern Star, and she operated a beauty salon out of her home for many years. She was preceded in death by husband, Carl Caldwell; parents, Elmo & Addie Loftis; brother-in-law, J. Thomas Bailey, Jr.; and foster sister, Jean Maynard. Survivors include daughter, Linda Caldwell, and sister, Kathleen Bailey. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Wilma, Kathy, Tammy, and Liz & family for their loving care for Connie. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 6th from 6-8pm at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 8pm. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens on Friday, October 8th at 11am. Pallbearers will be: Tom, Jay, Dan, Jason, Gerald and Micah Bailey.
