Clyde Chandler Harper

Clyde Chandler Harper, age 83, passed away in Knoxville, TN on Friday, August 25, 2023. Clyde was born July 11, 1940 in Cleveland, Mississippi. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and served in the U.S. Navy as a radarman. Clyde retired as a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones. He loved boating and waterskiing.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters. Clyde is survived by his two daughters, Kathryn A. Harper of Kokomo, Indiana and Diana L. Davis of Knoxville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Ashley Kromer and husband, Michael, Joshua Graham and wife, Summer, Lauren Kline, and Paul Kline. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Athena, Allison and Jade.

A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Maquoketa Rotary Club, for which Clyde served as president and member of their board during his thirty years in Iowa.
