Clarence "Bubby" Holland Smith Jr., age 73, of Louisville, Tennessee previously of House Mountain, TN passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Bubby was born February 15, 1949. He proudly worked for the City of Knoxville his entire career and retired after 43 years of faithful service. Bubby was happiest when he was working with Barbara in the garden or mowing the grass with his "beloved lawnmower".
He was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Carlie Smith.
He is survived by Barbara and Nur Setiawan; daughters, Holly (Billy) Lawson, Hope (Benny) Bailey; son, Mark (Samantha) Smith; grandchildren, Zachary, Nathan and Katie; brother, Johnny (Carolyn) Byrd; nephews, Jay, Keith, Jimmy and niece, Kelly.
He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 28, 2022 from 9:30am until 10:30am in the chapel of McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville and go in procession to Eastview Memorial Gardens, Strawberry Plains for an 11:00am Graveside Service officiated by Hal Walker.
