Clara Williams Stansberry

Clara Williams Stansberry, age 77, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Friday November 20, 2015. Clara was a member of Fort Hill Baptist Church and of the Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief Team of Tennessee. She worked for Wayne L. Smith & Associates and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Louise Williams. Survived by husband of 51 years, Connie M. Stansberry; brother, Joe F. (Wanda) Williams; brothers-in-law, Bill (Pat) Stansberry, Kenneth (Delsie) Stansberry and Ricky (Janet) Stansberry, several nieces and nephews and special cousins, Steve Allan and Larry Porter. Special thank you to Dr. Bailey and the nurses at Tennova Wound Healing Center and Covenant Home Care and Hospice and to nieces, Kim and Angie. The family will receive friends Monday, November 23rd from 6-7pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN. The funeral service will follow at 7pm with Rev. George Gilbert and Rev. Duncan Carver officiating. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery on Tuesday, November 24th at 11am for the graveside service with Rev. Patrick Sutherland officiating.
