Christopher Harold Kirk left peacefully to be with God on December 10, 2022 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving wife and daughters until his last breath. He was born on October 13, 1958 in Knoxville, TN where he resided the entirety of his life.
He graduated from Fulton High School, where he met his high school sweetheart and wife of 44 years. He began working as a young child which formed his unwavering, strong work ethic. His last job was as a Night Shift Replenish Manager at Home Depot, where he loved working for the past 28 years.
Chris was an amazing man with an abundance of knowledge and craftsmanship. He could build just about anything. He was our go-to whenever something needed to be fixed. He knew his stuff and he would drop whatever he was doing to help others. Chris was a very humble man and wouldn't take a compliment easily. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren who were a light in his life and easily brought out his inner child. He loved playing and being goofy with them.
Preceded in death by mother, Pauline Delp Kirk and father, Harold B. Kirk; sister, Andrea Kirk. Chris is survived by his wife, Rebecca "Becky" Kirk; daughters; Candace Gilbert (Benjamin) and Carmen Cooper (Chad); grandchildren, Grace and Jack Gilbert, Bailey, Katie and Ellie Cooper; brother, Ronnie Kirk (Connie); nephews, Scott and Brad Kirk; niece, Delynne Kirk and many nieces and nephews; sister and brother in laws, Eugenia and Earl Hoskins, Vickie and David Mahan, Sharon Parkhurst, Karen Zachary and Chris Idol.
