Christopher Chandler Goddard

Christopher Chandler Goddard, age 52, of Knoxville lost his battle to heart disease on January 25, 2023. As a young man, he was always involved in athletics and staying active. He will be remembered most for his love of baseball and softball where he spent many of his years on the field. He was a 1988 graduate of Doyle High School and attended East Tennessee State University. Entrepreneur at heart, he was an avid businessman and successful in starting his own business. Chris had a great sense of humor and was the life of the party. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a loving son, father, brother, and friend. Chris is survived by his mother, Barbara Goddard; father and stepmother, Rusty and Connie Goddard; ex-wife, Maranda Goddard; daughter, Reese Goddard; son, Easton Goddard; brothers, Andy Goddard (Stephanie), Russell Goddard (Renee), and Dustin Chapman (Ashley); sisters, Pamela Goddard Smith (Guy) and Holly Chapman; nephews, Rylan Goddard, Marshall Goddard, and Declan Smith; nieces, Chloe Goddard, Emery Goddard, and Peyton Smith; extended family and loving group of friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2023, at Sevier Heights Baptist Church - North Campus, 2939 Alcoa Hwy, A memorial service will follow at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to his children, Reese and Easton Goddard online at www.givesendgo.com/Reese_Easton.
