Waggoner, Charles (Chuck) James, age 69, went home to be with Jesus Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Chuck was an active servant at Arlington Church of Christ. He loved serving God through serving others. He was retired from Johnson Controls as a Service Manager. Preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Catherine Waggoner and brother, Lloyd Waggoner.
Survived by beloved wife of 37 years, Shirley Waggoner, children PollyAnne (Charles) Crowder, Daniel (Cindy) Waggoner, Allison Waggoner, Sharon Lowery, Pamela (Rick) Powers, Charles II (Alysa) Waggoner, Summer (John) Ledbetter, Billy Wright, Kevin Waggoner, grandchildren, Brittany and Cyle White, Alex and Dustin Ellis, Michael Crowder, Robert Miller, Christine Miller, Lance Waggoner, Justin Floied, Stephen Clifford, Lauren Bennett, James Lowery, Angelisa Chavez, Winnie Wright, Andrew and Aaron Workman, C.J. and Trenton Waggoner, honorary grandchildren, Andrew, Sheldon and Adrian James, eight great-grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Paul Gladney, brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Pat Waggoner, Albert and Judy Waggoner and Gary and Carla Waggoner, several nieces and nephews, special friends, Natanel Aronova and Roger Mink.
Family will receive friends Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 12 – 2 p.m. at Arlington Church of Christ. Service will follow at 2 p.m. with Minister Mark Brackney and Dr. Thomas Drinnen officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Lisa Mendes, Nurse Stephanie Dixson and U.T. Home Health Nurses Janet Kerr and Ralph Woods.
