Charles Amos Tallent

Charles A. Tallent passed away in peace Wednesday July 21, 2021. He was born June 16, 1923 to John and Vina Tallent. He married Imogene Ownby December 14, 1946.Charles loved fishing and being surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene; son, Harold; siblings, Norman Tallent, Sina Mae Cole, Beatrice Presley and Lillian White. Charles is survived by his sons, David (Carolyn) and Howard (Barbara). grandchildren, Wendy, Chuck, Tim, Eric, Christine and Kristal; great-grandchildren, Kolby, Chase, Camden, Katie, Emma, Parker, Bella and Ava. The family will receive friends Sunday July 25, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home 3704 Chapman Hwy, service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Kevin Anderson officiating. Family and friends will meet Monday July 26, 2021 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens on Alcoa Hwy for a 11:00 a.m. Interment. A special thanks to hospice, Tina Lopez and Rita Swatzler.
