Charles E (Charlie) Russell, age 67, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024. He was an independent contractor in Knoxville, Charlie was a member of Gallaher Memorial Baptist Church in Knoxville. He loved the Lord and gave his testimony to others and never met a stranger. He loved to talk to people and before the conservation was over he always talked about God. Charlie was a former dirt track race car driver and loved boating, hunting, fishing and collecting guns.
Charles was preceded in death by parents, Charles H. and Della Russell; sister, Rebecca Dowling. Charlie is survived by brothers, Wayne Russell and Ronnie Eubanks; nephews, Kevin and Keith Harris; niece, Elizabeth Eubanks; he left many special relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday May 7, 2024 from 6-7 p.m. at Berry Highland West Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet Wednesday May 8, 2024 at Berry Highland West Cemetery for a 11 a.m. committal service.
