Charles H Jones

Jones, Charles Henry, age 74, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011. Charles was a member of Alice Bell Baptist Church. He graduated from Carson Newman College with graduate studies at the University of Tennessee. He was a retired teacher of Knoxville City Schools and also several area businesses. Charles served six years in the Army Reserve. Preceded in death by Joyce Cianciolo Jones, wife of 41 years; parents, Henry M. Jones and Laura Walker Jones.

Survived by daughters, Leslie Patterson and husband David, Loretta Jones and significant other Blake Honeycutt; grandchild, Ryan Patterson; special friend, Barbara Ohlsson; brother, Marvin Jones; several nieces, great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Saturday with the funeral service at 7pm in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Pastor Toby Everett officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery for interment at 1 pm Sunday. Memorials may be made to Alice Bell Baptist Church, 3305 Alice Bell Rd, Knoxville, TN 37917.
