Cecelia Geneva Tulloss Brown peacefully entered into her eternal rest on March 24, 2018 at her residence in Knoxville. Cecelia was born (9-30-32) to the late Earl and Serlena Icy Angel Tulloss in Dayton, TN. She was educated in Rhea County and went on to become a trained nurse. Cecelia along with her sisters enlisted into the Air Force--making history in the city, state and Air Force with their enlistment. Cecelia gave up her career in the Air Force to become the wife of Earl. They were joined in marriage in 1957. Cecelia travelled extensively with her husband during his Navy career. They finally settled in Knoxville in 1976. She was employed with Community Action Committee and retired. Cecelia was a faithful member of Paine Ave Baptist Church where she served on various committees. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Marian, Gladys, and Ruth. She leaves to cherish her life and love are her beloved husband, Earl; daughter, Angel Little (Will) of Hephzibah, GA; son, Lavely of Nashville; her beloved granddaughter, Maya of Hephzibah; sisters, Serlena (James) Brown of Indianapolis, Betty Jo Cody of Morristown, TN, and Moya Martin, of Dayton, TN; brother-in-law, Charles Davis of Dayton, TN; brother-in-law, Emmitt Brown of Oliver Springs, TN; her beloved and devoted sister-in-law, Eunice Brown of Rockwood, TN. She also leaves a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends to mourn her passing. A Celebration of Life will be held for Cecelia at 1 pm, Friday, March 30, 2018 at Berry Highland West, 9913 Sherrill Blvd. Knoxville TN 37932. The family will receive friends from 12 pm until service time, and entombment will follow in the cemetery with Military Honors.
