Cathy June Doane

Doane, Cathy J., age 48 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Friday February 19, 2010. She is preceded in death by father Andrew O’Dell Overholt , Brother Shannon Overholt . Cathy is survived by her loving and devoted husband Michael E. Doane , Sons and daughters in law Michael A and Jennifer, Donnie and Ginger Doane . Grandchildren: Sierra Doane , Madisyn Doane, Dashawn Smith, Mark Williams, Ashley Johnson, and Mary Jaydin Carter. Mother Wilma Jean Overholt, stepfather Keith Butler, Mother in law Jeanette Daniels. Siblings and their spouses: Kenneth Overholt, Karen Hurst, Teresa and Eddie Grubb, Howard and Cindy Overholt, Mikie and Tena Overholt, Dewayne Doane and Freda. Nieces: Kimberly, Tabatha, Kristi, Jeannie, Joanie, and Ashley “Nikki”, Nephews: Will, O’Dell, B.J, Matt, Josh, Jeramie , Jordan, Andy, and Wayne “Bubba”. Nine great nieces and ten great nephews. Cathy was loved by so many other family members and friends. Cathy was employeed by KUB for 28 years. The family will receive friends Tuesday February 23rd. 6-8 PM at McCarty- Evergreen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday Feburary 24th. At 1PM in the McCarty-Evergreen chapel with Rev. Teril Whittaker officiating. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery.
